| 🌟 Well, that week-long storm was something I hope to forget soon. A chaotic mix of blizzard conditions, temps in the mid-teens, freezing rain, fallen trees, iced-over roads, walkways and parking lots. Then came the night of exploding transformers, multi-day power outages and extended loss of wifi, and another smashed-glass-door robbery! This was our FOURTH robbery in 2 months. There were 2 other shops broken into in Hillsdale the same night, but police think they were different robbers based on their style of searching. Ours was surgical, (Pokemon and other trading cards) the other break-ins were just destruction and ransacking. I wonder if they waved to one another down the parking lot? |

| It’s so sad looking at these images from Friday morning, January 19, and we’re still reeling just a little bit while in the process of filing our 4th insurance claim in 2 months and currently waiting on bars to be installed on the front doors. After 14 years in this location, I have thought about bars before but chose to not take on the pawn shop/prison-like look. Now, they can’t arrive soon enough. I hope they will help. |
