Other Worlds Games & Comics is proud to offer a monthly Comics Subscription Service. We take the worry out of missing new titles or ongoing issues. In addition to the convenience of us ordering and holding your requested comics, you can enjoy tiered discounts on your subscriptions, preordered graphic novels AND you can apply your discounts to any comics and graphic novels you buy off the shelf!
- Signing Up. To sign up for a Subscription Box you must have a current credit card which we keep on file. Also, you must READ this form and SIGN our comics Subscription Service Form. (attached) NO CASH DEPOSITS for subscriptions. Signing up automatically puts you on our weekly, popular comics newsletter email list.
- Payment. We charge your card only when your titles come in. We then place your comics in your assigned box with a printed receipt. For multiple comics we may put them in a bag. You will also receive a digital receipt from Square, our merchant processor. This has the added benefit of letting you know that something has come in for you. Receipts do NOT show the comic titles, however. If there are ever any comics in your box that you were charged for but did not ask for we will refund right away. As a service we sometimes place “suggested” comics or variant covers in your box. We will NOT charge you for these and they should be in your box with a note. Please always look thru your box for suggested items when you come in. These will still need to be paid for. Please notify us if there is ever a change in your credit card information or if it needs to be updated. If your card does not work for 2-billing cycles (2 months) we may need to close your box.
THIS IS THE WAY
- Picking Up. Simply come in at your convenience to pick up your comics in your box. For fun, we ask that you wave and say “THIS IS THE WAY” to whoever is cashiering so they know you are a SUSCRIBER and not some stranger snooping thru the cupboards. Please do NOT place any unwanted books from your box into any other box. Please do NOT place any comics from the shelves into your box to pick up the next time you come in. Lastly, please notify us if you expect an extended time away or issues with your credit card.
- Changing/Cancelling Titles. If you wish to add new titles to your box you can email or simply tell us at the counter. If you wish to cancel a title you can anytime but we ask that you please accept ONE MORE issue for that title since we have probably already ordered it for you. Comic orders are always placed over a month before they release. If you cancel within that month it may be too late for us to cancel that issue for you.

1 – 10 Monthly Titles, you receive 5% off cover price.
11 or more Monthly Titles, receive 10% off cover price.
Previews is the gorgeous, monthly, comic industry catalog from Diamond Comics Distributors. I highly recommend these as a fun way to stay on top of new releases. You are always welcome to browse our store copy in the shop or purchase one. You can also subscribe to Previews for the amazing low price of just $3.99 each month.
Variants. We usually mark-up variant covers according to market value. This helps us recoup some of our weekly shipping charges for comics. However, if you have subscribed to a regular variant (non-incentive) we will not up-charge you. This also applies to regular covers. We will not up-charge you for your subscribed titles, ever. Keep in mind, due to the fun collectible nature of comics, internet prices often fluctuate on very short times scales. If we do not price to market values folks will come in to buy us out so they can flip them online.
Shipping. Other Worlds can NOT ship your items to you.
30 Cents Upcharge: You may notice comics on the shelves have 30 cents added to them. This helps with shipping costs for all these books. We usually wave this charge for subscription issues.
